Usually a temporary server hiccup. Wait a few seconds and try again. If it keeps failing, check your internet connection. If you're seeing "Rate limited," just wait 30–60 seconds — this can happen if you send several translations very quickly.
Pull down to refresh the token balance on the main screen. If they still don't appear after 30 seconds, try closing and reopening the app. Purchases are processed by Apple and may take a moment. If you're still missing tokens after a few minutes, email us with your Apple order number and we'll sort it out.
Tap the token balance area on the main screen, then look for "Restore Purchases." Your tokens are tied to your device ID — if you're on a new device, email us at [email protected] and we'll transfer your balance manually.
Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone, and make sure Anger Translator is allowed. If it's already on, try toggling it off and back on. You can also use the text input mode (keyboard icon) to type your message instead.
Voice input supports English. The translation output is in English. Additional language support may be added in a future update.
No. Your audio is sent to a third-party transcription service (Deepgram) to convert it to text, then the audio is discarded. We never store your voice recordings. See our privacy policy for full details.
Clean mode keeps the translation profanity-free — the anger and attitude come through in tone and creativity, not swearing. Unfiltered mode lets Luther go full unhinged. Unfiltered mode also has an optional censor beep feature if you want to hear it but keep the audio shareable.
Token purchases are processed by Apple. You can request a refund through Apple's standard process at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you have extenuating circumstances, email us and we'll do what we can.
